At InterMed Global, we believe concern for and commitment to international patients leads to a trusting and dedicated partnership between medical travellers and those who interact with them and care for them before, during and after their medical journeys. We are pleased to share our experiences with you and to help you become a successful and responsible participant in this exciting new industry.

Our medical travel subsidiaries, Cosmetic Surgery Travel and Surgery Travel International, have been featured in top publications including Reader's Digest, Frommer's Guides, Patients Beyond Borders, The Washington Post, and Asia Spa. Our international patients have been presented on U.S. network television.

International patients are all vulnerable in so many ways, large and small, that the typical hospital employee or manager does not comprehend and therefore cannot provide help for them.

Patients themselves are not aware of their vulnerabilities. They seldom appreciate how quickly a seemingly ordinary situation can become a crisis. They don't understand how few rights they have in fact without a knowledgeable advocate or representative by their side.

We urge medical travel facilitators to use professional, experienced staff on-site at the medical destinations where they send patients. InterMed Global is pleased to offer its own on-site services, or those of other leading agents, to facilitators or patients who want a patient advocate or patient representative to be in attendance for the patient.
